If you are like most of the population, you aren’t able to stop the ‘mind chatter’ when you try to
meditate. In this beginners meditation class, you will learn that you don’t have to stop the ‘chatter’. In
this fun experiential class you will be with like-minded people who will lend support to the process
because everyone is there for the same reason: to learn to meditate. Meditation can be a wonderful
thing and it has been proven that if we meditate for even five minutes a day, it can help improve
concentration, reduce stress and anxiety and lower blood pressure. If you have been looking for a
beginner’s meditation class, then you’ve found it!

You can expect to learn/experience:

·        Feel safe and protected in your thoughts, feelings, emotions and surroundings
·        What meditation is and how its used to help the body relax
·        The different types of meditation and how/why they are used
·        The difference between meditation and guided meditation
·        A guided group meditation
·        Resources and material to help you meditate on your own or with others
·        Simple steps to meditate anywhere at any time of the day
·        An opportunity to purchase items related to the experiential class (not required for participation or
for the class)
·        Have fun!

This experiential class will give you a basis for starting meditation and guided meditation. If you’ve
tried meditation programs in the past and it hasn’t worked, try this one!
