| Holistic Counseling |
The Holistic/Spiritual Consultant will work with you from a Mind, Body, Spirit perspective. Simply
put, it means that the Holistic/Spiritual Consultant works from the premise that if the body feels
miserable, it is the result of negative thinking and feelings and low spiritual energy. A Holistic/Spiritual
Consultant may ask you to consult with your primary care physican prior to accepting you as a client.
This is to ensure that any physical and/or emotional medical needs are being met by an allopathic
phsycian. Holistic/Spiritual Consultants do not prescribe medications nor do they treat medical or
emotional conditions that require prescription therapy.
When the spirit of the person is low, it affects the body as well as how one feels and thinks. The
Holistic/Spiritual Consultant sees this connection with the Mind, Body and Spirit and works with the
individual from this perspective.
The Holistic/Spiritual Consultant will listen with compassion and will view each situation and
presenting issue from a Mind, Body, Spirit.
The Holistic/Spiritual Consultant will be your guide. They’ll teach you self-help empowerment skills to
increase your coping ability, lower your anxiety and enhance your spiritual connection within yourself
and your belief systems. Spirituality is not religion based, but faith based. You will need to inform your
Consultant of your preference in terminology for the Divine.
An experienced, credited Holistic/Spiritual Consultant combines mind, body and spirit to help bring
resolve to individuals suffering from substance abuse, trauma, psychological dsyfunction and stress-
related disorders. Holistic Counseling is helpful for persons who are effected by anxiety, fear, depression,
anger, illnesses, and to persons seeking personal and spiritual growth. Not all Holistic/Spirtual
Consultants specialize in the same treatments. Some Holistic Consultans prefer to stay within their
scope of practice and within their comfort zone.
