When scheduling your session, we will ask you to complete a simple client history form which includes a brief health
history. Some medications, including over the counter medications and supplements, along with certain health conditions
may be contraindicated for your session. We will not schedule a session for you if we feel it would not be in your best
interest from a health and wellness standpoint.
By completing the health history form, this allows us to determine if this type of session is beneficial for your healing
needs. We take great pride in preparing for your session; We take the time needed to make special blends for
aromatherapy, to choose session appropriate music, to choose the right table linens, etc. Your session is not scripted; it
is created for your particular healing needs.
Holistic massage therapy incorporates the use of all organic and natural oils. We can infuse your oils with essential and
organic aromatherapy oils along with dried herbs such as lavender.
Holistic Massage Therapy uses long gliding strokes and compression to release and smooth out tension.
Areas massaged for a holistic massage are:
Front of the body:
Head
Neck
Shoulders
Arms
Hands
Legs
Feet
Back of the body:
Back of the legs
Back
Shoulders
Lower back
Neck
Gluteal and Abdomen massage is not part of our holistic massage unless there is an underlying medical issue that needs
to be addressed. In regard to glutes, if you require mild trigger point therapy to release or work on a sciatic issue,
please address this issue prior to scheduling the session.
A separate session with concentration to help the tension of the sciatic area can be scheduled. We gladly schedule focus
sessions: these sessions focus on a particular body area.
