When scheduling your session, we will ask you to complete a simple client history form which includes a brief health history.
Some medications, including over the counter medications and supplements, along with certain health conditions may be
contraindicated for your session. We will not schedule a session for you if we feel it would not be in your best interest from
a health and wellness standpoint.
By completing the health history form, this allows us to determine if this type of session is beneficial for your healing needs.

Reiki is a universal healing life force energy that we all have the ability to use. Once attuned to the reiki healing energy, we
have it for life. Reiki has been known to help with physical, emotional, spiritual and etheric levels. It is a non invasive form of
healing that allows the client to receive positive energy through the reiki practitioner.
The client will let the practitioner know the day of the session if there are any particular areas the client needs help with.
The practitioner scans the clients body with her hands to pick up any ‘signals’ from the body. The practitioner may ask the
client questions to help navigate where any issues may be.
Reiki practitioners, with a centered intent to help the client achieve relaxation, reduce pain and/or anxiety, use their hands
to direct healing energy. The practitioner's intent is to support the healing process from a conscious and compassionate
state. The client, to benefit, must have the willingness to (change) that which is to be helped.
The practitioner, if asked by the client may offer suggestions based on her spiritual training and intuitive nature.
Light touch is used on, or above the client's fully-clothed body.
Reiki practitioners channel energy in a particular pattern to heal and harmonize. Unlike other healing therapies based on the
premise of a human energy field, reiki seeks to restore order to the body whose vital energy has become unbalanced.
Reiki energy has several basic effects: it brings about deep relaxation, destroys energy blockages, detoxifies the system,
provides new vitality in the form of healing universal life energy, and increases the vibrational frequency of the body.
The laying of hands used in Reiki healing also is used in spiritual healing. There is a difference though. In spiritual healing, a
person with a strong energy field places his or her hands above a particular part of the recipient's body in order to release
energy into it. So, here the healer is the one who is sending out the energy.
In Reiki, however, the healer places the hands above the recipient; however, it is the recipient that draws the energy as
needed. Thus, in this case, the individual being healed takes an active part in the healing process as opposed to having a
passive part in spiritual healing. The individual takes responsibility for his or her healing. The recipient identifies the needs
and is able to draw energy as needed.
